Invitations: Sarah and Justin wanted their invitations to have a modern, graphic feel to them. Their colors were a deep charcoal gray with accents of bright blue and pure white; perfect for summer. We decided to use very strong shapes and patterns throughout the suite. The reception was at The Riverview in Simsbury, so I designed the invitation with a scalloped pattern reminiscent of water, and then played off the simple circular shapes with a fun and lighthearted font, Adios Script. The invitation is a 5×5 square size, printed 2 color thermography on White Micah card stock with backing layers of Zircon, Luster Mehndi and Graphite. Invitation tucked inside a Portable Pocket in Graphite with band wrap in Zircon. Accent tab on front of Portable Pocket in White Micah with backing layer of Luster Mehndi. The enclosure cards were set up in “steps” to keep organized, and then wrapped in a band wrap to stay together. Envelopes in Luster, liner in Luster Mehndi with wraparound address labels.
